Bearlot’s Furry Friends (BFF) is the UAE’s first digital platform dedicated to supporting animal welfare by bridging the gap between rescue organisations and compassionate individuals. As a team and a platform, we’re committed to helping rescue dogs and cats find safe, loving homes, while empowering organisations with the tools they need to do what they do best. At the heart of BFF is a belief that every animal deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life and a community that makes that possible.
The Inspiration Behind BFF
Bearlot's Furry Friends was inspired by the experiences of Bear and Merlot, two Chow Chows who witnessed their friend suffer from neglect and confinement. Despite efforts to rescue him, the parent refused, leading to a tragic end. This experience motivated Bear and Merlot's pawrents to create Bearlot's Furry Friends, an initiative dedicated to supporting animal welfare, helping rescues find loving homes, and empowering pawrents to responsibly care for their pets.
