We exclusively partner with verified Rescue Organizations to ensure the legitimacy of all rescues available for adoption or fostering through our app.

The BFF app is completely free to use. You can start searching for a rescue to adopt or foster, manage your pet’s information, access trusted services, and enjoy exclusive discounts - all at no cost. If you’d like to unlock additional features, there’s an optional premium membership, but the core experience is free and available to everyone.

If you adopt or foster through BFF, you’ll automatically unlock our Fur Family Premium membership — completely free. This upgraded plan gives you even more control and convenience: manage your pet’s records, set care reminders, and enjoy greater access to exclusive discounts — like redeeming offers more frequently each month through our trusted community partners.

Yes, our app provides you with filters to search based on your preferences. However, we cannot guarantee that you will find what you are looking for. Keep your heart open and you might surprise yourself.

Adoption fees are set by each individual Rescue Organization, so they can vary. Fees often help cover essential costs like vaccinations, vet checks, and microchipping. You’ll find the details for each pet listed within the app - and 100% of the fee goes directly to the rescue caring for the animal.

Rescue Organizations have access to every application they receive, and it is up to them to connect if they find you a suitable candidate for the rescue. Utilizing boosters on the app can enhance your chances of having your application reviewed.

Offers and discounts can only be unlocked once you successfully adopt or foster a rescue, or if you subscribe to one of our Fur Family memberships.

BFF partners with many Rescue Organizations that can help you rehome your pet responsibly. Reach out to them directly through their respective websites and social media channels for support.

You can go to Profile > Subscriptions & Boosters to conveniently subscribe to one of our membership plans on the app.

The pre-screening questionnaire is there to allow Rescue Organizations to make an informed decision before connecting with an applicant on the app. This does not take away from their own internal processes, which could vary for each organization, and this could include additional questionnaires, interviews, and home visits.

Yes, you can send an adoption request on the app to the Rescue Organization, and they will be able to review your request and act according to their process.
